Birstall Independent Baptist Church
What
is an Independent Baptist Church?
"Independent" means that we are not
attached to any denominational body. We do not look to anyone but God for
our support and to His word (the Scriptures) for the rules by which we
operate.
"Baptist" means that we practice the baptism by immersion of those
who come to faith in Jesus Christ, as did the church from its early days.
The Church, according to the Bible, is not a building. It is the
congregation of believers who are united by faith to Jesus Christ and to one
another.
Our Mission
To worship and serve God according to His will
which he has revealed to us in the bible.
To let everyone who will hear us, know that there is forgiveness, peace with
God and the promise of eternal life through faith in Jesus Christ.
